Sandro Gegechkori is a winner of many international and national piano competitions – festivals. He usually gives solo piano recitals and orchestral performances in Georgia and abroad. In 2017, Rachmaninoff international house – museum “Ivanovka “ has funded a brand new festival called “Sandro Gegechkori with Sergey Rachmaninoff “.

Sandro performed in numerous brilliant concert halls. He performed in the Royal Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) , Kaisersaal (Austria) , Nanjing concert hall (Nanjing).

Sandro Gegechkori has been giving many solo piano recitals in European and Asian countries: Austria, Netherlands, Italy, USA, China, Armenia , Georgia and etc.

Sandro Cooperates with Amsterdam YTO orchestra, Tbilisi Z. Paliashvili symphony orchestra.

He’ obtained:

1st award and special prize in A. Babajanyan Yerevan international piano competition

Grand-prix and special prize in Feurich Vienna international piano competition

Finalist winner of Claudette Sorel New York international piano competition

Numerous prizes in Brecia international piano competition

3rd award in Chopin Republic competition

3rd award in Amiredjibi international piano competition

Sandro Gegechkori will be performing with the greatest conductor Mikhail Zemtsov and YTO orchestra in the framework of the festival “Klassiek op het Amstelveld”.

He is officially invited in Canada, Spain , China and etc.

Being the winner of the First Prize of MCB international music competition 2021, he has already scheduled all
his future solo and orchestral concerts. As a winner of MCB international piano competition, he has
already got the opportunity to record the compact disc at the world renowned Naxos CD platform.
Currently Sandro studies at The Tbilisi State Conservatoire BA program, enhancing his artistic skills at the professor’s Alexander Garber’s class.
